Happy Birthday Michie!!!!

Michelle's actual b-day isn't until tomorrow, but we had her family (mom, sisters, niece, and grandparents) over for a little party tonight. Here are some pictures of the birthday girl and her cake. YIPPEE!

It's raining, it's pouring, it's flooding...OH MY!!

Tonight started out with a little rain. We left our apartment with Erika and Alice in one car. My Mom, Toby(the dog), and Greta (the cat) in one and James, Rachel and me in another. We were heading down to Erika's house, we needed to go to Target to get some medicine. We called Erika and told her we would go in and get it so she wouldnt have to get Alice out. When we got out our Mom yelled to us that we cant go to her house cuz it is flooded. There is water up to people's doors. So we were told to follow our Mom. We made it back to our apartment, however, we can hear sirens and Minot as we know it is FLOODING!!!

There is no place like Country Kitchen...

We started work at the Ground Round tonight. I think we will really enjoy working there although we miss the "KITCHEN" at Country Kitchen. We have completed 2 hours of book training and still have 4 more to go. Then we shadow someone for 3 shifts and then we are off on our own (hurray). The thing that throws me off at the ground round is that when we are serving in the bar our uniform consists of: black shoes, shirt, and black SHORTS. (James was very excited to hear we can wear shorts to work)

Michie v.s. Nature

Well today the three of us went on a little nature walk. I did not think there would be this much drama.

Baby Olivia's Baptism

We made our first trip back home to Dickinson last Tuesday for Baby Olivia's Baptism. 1. Olivia is with her parents and her godparents Jolene and Shane aka ex- manager. ( SHOUT OUT TO CK)

3.Jolene (godmother) is holding Olivia in her Christening Gown. Baby Olivia was drenched with a lot of water, however, she was very content during the ceremony.

The FUN has arrived!!

The FUUNNNN has arriiiived!! We've migrated to the North. The first picture is a picture of our apartment building. This is our first apartment and YES we have experienced a lot. We ran into some issues with our apartment not being ready for us. After we cleaned, we moved in. The 2nd picture is our living room. That is where we spend most of our time, yet we do not have a "landing." The next picture is of our kitchen. It looks pretty bare but it is coming along really well. We are still awaiting our kitchen table.


This is our colorful bathroom. Rachel and Michelle both love bright colors and patterns. James, not so fond of it. He would like us to make it more "manly", so we will be stopping at Target. We were thinking of adding more brown to it. James' Mom bought him some brown towels that look really nice with the shower curtain.

Here is James' beautiful room. He likes earthtone colors and pictures of trees. His room is full of pictures of Alex and Olivia. Now that he has his fancy computer, you can hardly get him out of his room.

We will be featuring Rachel and Michelle's rooms...One day!!

Tomorrow we start working at the Ground Round but are looking for other jobs. WE MISS YOU ALL!!

is has been an eventful year for all of us. Upon James graduating we have decided to leave Dickinson and move to Minot. Rachel and Michelle plan to attend Minot State in the fall, Rachel majoring in Pre-Med and Michelle in Speech Pathology. James will be attending HQ Academy of Hair.
